Batchr is a software that helps businesses manage inventory, production, and scheduling. It was a product that was created during my first semester at SEP. In the end, our product was tested in 8 stores, and then pitched on demo day to a panel of judges and a crowd of 300 people.

The Challenge
During my first semester at SEP, our team was given 10-weeks to come up with an idea and bring it to fruition. With countless customer discovery calls, we discovered a niche problem within small to medium sized businesses: CEOs and high-level managers are spending hours of their week tracking and scheduling production and inventory. Our group aimed to fixed this problem, and create a streamlined platform to make manage back-of-house tasks, easy.
Our solution comprised of a few main features:
Recipe tracking
We help with white glove onboarding to move all of your recipes into our platform. From there, managing inventory and product becomes as easy as a click
Intelligent Inventory Tracking
We use PAR levels set during onboarding, recipes, and live POS-powered order tracking to intelligently determine when you should by more product.
Ordering
When you product is low, easily manage orders, manufacturers, and scheduling through our platform.
Production Scheduling
Choose which products you want to replenish in your inventory, and build an efficient production schedule in minutes.
The Result
By the end of the process, we secured eight stores to pilot the product and received strong feedback, including an investment offer from a design partner I brought on. When all was done, we presented our product to a panel of esteemed judges and a crowd of 300 people at Demo Day. The process was an amazing learning experience which taught me valuable design, communication, and PM skills.
